The Department of Justice is in the middle of an urgent and chaotic effort to review the delicate materials of the FBI investigation into the convict and financial sexual criminal Jeffrey Epstein, with the attorney general Pam Bondi by pressing the FBI and his own department to release more files in the case of the continuous pressure of President Donald Crit.
Up to a thousand FBI agents, many of which generally focus on national security matters, have enlisted to help with the effort, fountains said.
The impulse occurs two weeks after Bondi delivered binders with Epstein case files to the influencers of Pro-Trump social networks in the White House, files that finally contained little new information. The move captured the officials of the White House off guard and outraged some supporters of the president, who had been promised that more details would be made public. The White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, replied that “everyone is working together as a unified team in the direction of President Trump.”
In tense private exchanges earlier this week, Bondi pressed the director of the FBI Kash Patel to make more to publish still secret information that involves one of the most infamous criminals in the history of sex in modern history, the sources said.
Officials of the Department of Justice have made it clear to others throughout the Trump administration that it is now an priority of the attorney general to classify the materials related to Epstein and decide what can be publicly revealed in the next few days, the sources said, and the FBI agents who expect to work in the early hours of the morning have been told.
The sources tell ABC News that the National Security Division of the Department of Justice is dedicating many of its resources to the effort, despite the fact that some senior officials responsible for enforcing the law believe that the information that Bondi demands to be reviewed does not contain new revelations.
The effort of all the hands on the roof to accelerate the release of additional material has led to a growing crack between FBI and DOJ officials, the sources said, since both have faced a violent reaction online of Maga vocal on the handling of the Trump administration archives.

In a statement, a DOJ spokesman told ABC News: “According to the leadership of the Attorney General Bondi, the Department of Justice is working tirelessly to offer unprecedented transparency for the American people.”
The White House referred ABC News to the response of the Department of Justice.
“Patel director is committed to full transparency and justice, quickly delivering documents to the Department of Justice,” said FBI spokesman Ben Williamson, ABC News in a statement. “It has a complete faith in the leadership and dedication of Attorney General Pam Bondi to hold the powerful.”
Among the material under consideration for release is the evidence of video not previously revealed to sex trafficking research on Epstein, the sources said, and added that the Department of Justice has not yet made a final decision in this regard.
The authorities can also review the detailed materials in a document published earlier this month that the Department of Justice is calling “Evidence List”, a three -page material catalog apparently obtained through searches for Epstein properties in New York, Florida and the Virgin Islands of the United States.
Among the articles that the researchers obtained, according to the document, is “a CD labeled ‘Girl Pics Nude Book 4’ and a folder entitled” LSJ Logbook “, which seems to be a reference to Epstein’s private island, little St. James.
The document also lists dozens of recording devices, computers, hard drives and memory sticks, along with various sexual paraphernalia.
Epstein died for suicide in 2019 while facing federal positions of child sexual trafficking. It is rumored that the well -connected financial, owner of a private property of the island in the Virgin Islands of the United States, has maintained a “list of customers” of celebrities and politicians, that the influencers of the right have accused the authorities of Escondite without foundation. Multiple sources familiar with civil and criminal cases against Epstein say that this list has not been discovered.
In an interview last week, Bondi was asked about the growing pressure of the Trump base to release more files, and confirmed that the department was working to make them public.
“The Maga Group is angry because we don’t know more about Epstein’s archives … Are you going to give us more information?” Maria Bartiromo de Fox News asked the attorney general.
Bondi replied that the director of the FBI, Kash Patel, was working to provide the Department of Justice for a timeline for the next launch of the document.
“We will leave as much as we can, as fast as we can for the American people,” he said.
ABC News previously reported that Bondi faced a violent reaction from the White House and Trump’s allies for his initial launch of the Epstein file earlier this month.
During a White House event with influential people Pro-Trump, Bondi distributed folders labeled as “Epstein files: Phase 1”, capturing senior officials of the White House off guard. The materials mainly contained public records, causing outrage of some of Trump’s supporters, including the extreme right -right activist Laura Loomer, who criticized the launch as “unreliable” and not reliable.
